We use Redmine with our LDAP server. The on-the-fly user creation is a great feature.
I am wondering if we could also add an LDAP format custom field.
The problem we are encountering, is that in order for us to connect an issue with a person they would have to sign in to Redmine to create their User object. It would be nice to be able to relate an Issue to the LDAP profile (by searching by email for example), so that when they do eventually login to Redmine they would see all of their related issues.
