I would like to have a list of all the files added to a version on the overview page of a version (maybe on the roadmap page too). Thus it would be very easy to access uploaded files as currently on the files list all versions are listed.
Now there is only the list of issues shown there (/versions/show/id).

+1 I like this idea. So I could point to the version page instead of the download page and a user could see what was fixed and also access the files there.

If files module is active you can assign files to versions.
It would be nice to have a list of these files in an own box ("related files") similar as "related issues" shown in the version view, e.g.
http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/versions/39
Moreoever an assolute count of related files in the roadmap per version would show the user, that there are documents availabe for this version.
