My use case:
We're three guys working on some projects. Not everybody is involved in every project. But as soon as someone contributes (code, issues, wiki), he begins to be involved.
My wish:
I would like to be added as a member to all the project I contribute.
This could probably need a config option as it changes the behavior, some users could possible object.
Btw. two out of the last three bugs I filed were fixed after only hours. Incredible! Thank you a lot!!!

You can use a plugin "Advanced Membership Management":http://www.redmine.org/plugins/advanced_membership_management which will let you achieve what you want. Everytime a new project is created, the specified users will become a member.
