As noticed in #5752, it is currently rather difficult for core developers to find issues which have a working and verified patch applied without having to grep through large amounts of mails.

Thus, a new status "Reviewed and ready to commit" or the like should be added as an optional step before resolved (only settable by contributors). That way, we could mark clean patches for the few people with commit rights.
