For convenience on installations with many projekts organized in mutiple levels, the projects page could be designed as collapsable tree, showing only the top level projects in the beginning.
Maybe optional, with switching to the current view and vice versa. Preferred view configurable in user account settings.

Here we have lots of projects.
The coordinator's project page is pretty messy.
