Very interesting option is to have information on issue when issue status has been changed last time. Issue field "Updated" records information on any issue change, but time of last issue status change is not possible to extract.
Filtering on this field in issue list is crucial for environments where redmine is used as helpdesk/SLA tool.

If you need an immediate solution for this, it should be possible with the custom workflows plugin, which would be able to trigger setting a custom field's value to the current date whenever a status change is detected.

In general, it could be interresting to get date of different event on issue :
* Date of last status change
* Date of last comment
* ...
We could resume to : "Date of last xxxxx field modification" (standard or custom field of course ;-) )
