Hi,
When we search for something in redmine issues and journals maybe I remember some clue from the subject and also some part of the user id/name. So it could really filter out all none related search results and get faster to the desired subject. So it would be very helpful if there exist an option like: "Search user id/names" check box under the search box controls and criteria.

Also I think it is good to have a more advanced search tool box with the following items to have more search resolution:

# issue subject
# issue description
