未完了Is installing from a source checkout easier to upgrade than a stable release?

Greetings - the Redmine Download page http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/Download#Latest-source-code says that checking out the source is the preferred way to get Redmine if you want to benefit from the latest improvements and be able to upgrade easily.
Does that somehow imply that it is easier to be able to upgrade using the source checkout as compared to doing an installation from a stable release?

However, this is actually a _request for modifying/editing/corresponding the corresponding content on Download page_ to reflect what is correct.
Perhaps the category should have been Documentation?
