We currently have almost 400 projects in our Redmine instance. This makes it very painful to move an issue from one project to the other, because the project list when editing an issue is a simple <select> without any searching/filtering capability. The fact that most of our projects are actually subprojects of a few projects like "Team A" and "Team B" makes it even worse, because you can't type the first letter of the project to jump to it in the list - this works only for first-level projects, because all other projects are indented in the list. If you don't know to which team the project you're looking for belongs to, you're in for a lot of scrolling through the list.

The "jump to project" box in the upper right corner features a search. Could the same implementation be used for the project list when creating/editing an issue?
